AfroMundo is dedicated to fostering civic engagement, building radical solidarity, and promoting wellbeing amongst Afro-Latinx, Afro-Indigenous, Afro-Asian, BIPOC, and 2SLGBTQIA+ peoples via interactive, community-building arts and humanities programs.
Narratives are foundational to every aspect of our lives. Narratives are what inform history, religion, culture, class, race, as well as political, economic, education, health policies, and much more. Narratives are what empower some and disenfranchise others.
AfroMundo’s vision is to connect diasporic communities, foster alliances, and provide a visible platform from which we share our narratives towards a common goal of advancing equity, healing, joy, and hope.
